Heute ist der große Tag des offiziellen SharePoint 2016 Launch-Events, bei dem Microsoft medial mehr über Vision und Roadmap der neuen SharePoint-Version aufklären will. Nachdem man bei Microsoft noch vor drei Jahren die Position vertrat, dass die Zukunft nur in der Cloud bei SharePoint Online und Office 365 liegt, ist man nun doch noch einmal einen Schritt zurückgegangen und sieht auch hybride Ansätze als mögliche Lösungswege für Unternehmen. Hierin liegt die zentrale Positionierung der SharePoint 2016 Lösung, die Unternehmen den Übergang von On-Premise zur Kombination mit Cloud-Diensten erleichtern bzw. den Weg in die flexiblere Zukunft der Arbeit ebnen soll.
